Art on every step

The Fondation Maeght  born from a friendship with the great names of modern art, it’s mission is to present modern and contemporary art in all its forms.  It also owns one of the largest collections of paintings, sculptures and graphic works of the twentieth century in Europe. Painters and sculptors have collaborated with the architect by creating works integrated into the building and the landscape, blending interior and exterior space with the sculpture garden, courtyards, terraces and patios, showrooms, a chapel, the library and bookstore.
