The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a multi-faceted organization focusing on the arts, music and sciences and is an important hub of Portugese cultural life. The foundation consists of an auditorium, an exhibition space, the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, the Gulbenkian Música, and an art library. On top of all of this, the Gulbenkian Orchestra is one of the best orchestras in Portugal. The foundation’s many buildings are located in the Gulbenkian Park in Lisbon designed by Ribeiro Telles. The park is always worth a visit, as you can expect the programming in any of its various branches to be of world-class.
