Davies Symphony Hall

The construction of Davies Hall gave the world-class San Francisco Symphony Orchestra a permanent home. Since 1980 the Orchestra can now operate full-time delighting audiences year-round. The beautiful, glass-enclosed lobby provides a stunning view of the San Francisco City Hall and the War Memorial. The concert hall is stylish on the inside as well, with aesthetically pleasing movable acrylic panels and fabric banners providing the appropriate acoustics for each performance. The design of the venue makes each event feel intimate, despite the hall’s vast capacity.
