De Cordova Sculpture Park and Museum

The 30-acre sculpture park and contemporary art museum on the shore of Flint's Pond in Lincoln, Massachusetts is located on the former estate of Julian de Cordova, a self-educated son of a Jamaican merchant. Julian became a successful tea broker, wholesale merchant and investor. Julian and his wife Elizabeth travelled around the globe collecting art. Inspired by his trips to Spain and his own Spanish heritage, Julian remodelled his summer home to resemble a European castle. Presenting a wide-ranging selection of art, some focus is always reserved for New England artists.
