Nantipa

Nantipa is located in off the beaten path Santa Teresa, in one of the only five Blue Zones of the world. Montezuma Waterfall, a surf lessons and canopying through Malpaís are must-have experience activities that the hotel can set up for you. Either individual travellers, families or a group of friends, everyone can enjoy the spa services, sunset romance and a true, big size gourmet Costa Rican dining experience.

Sustainability:

• Waste water is processed in a treatment plant. The resulting clean water is used in irrigation of the gardens. Solid waste is sent out to the Nicoya Water keepers processing plant
• Energy sensors are placed to manage lights and air conditioning. Solar Water heaters are installed in each room
• Cutting of original trees was fully licensed and limited to only 6 of the original trees in the property. Multiple trees and plants were added to compensate. All wood was re-utilized in furniture and construction. All new plants are endemic to the region, and produced locally
• No single use plastic used on property

Community interactions:

• Have ample support programs from local schools, to the Chamber of Tourism (founding members, hold the vice presidency) to the treasury of the National Chamber of Tourism
• Working with local soccer teams and athletes
• Purchasing locally from fishermen and other suppliers
• All tours and guides are operated by local small companies
