Naturalis Bio Resort represents an authentic farming tradition of Salento and it is a great place for travellers who want to feel the atmosphere of 18th century village combined with 21st century quality service. Sustainability:

• Usage of renewable energy produced with solar panels and engagement in innovative farming practices of regenerative agriculture which enables to capture CO2 in the soil. Also planning to integrate additional solar panels in the short term. The NB Group is committed to reach Net Zero emissions by 2030
• Rainwater harvesting and re-use for irrigation purposes. 100% of water needs are met by collecting rain
• Transforming all the waste from the kitchen as compost for the land. Moreover, all the agricultural waste material is also transformed in compost for the land
• Naturalis is a single-use-plastic-free. The bin bags are made out of recycled plastic, glass water bottles are given back to the supplier for their re-use

Community interactions:

• In 2017 transformed Martano in the first “City of Aloe” in the world, through the donation of over 3.500 Aloe Vera plants to be located in the urban green areas of the city
• Created ALOE FOR SOCIAL which is aimed at raising funds for a social project for children and young people through the creation of solidarity shops where they are able to sell Aloe Vera Barbadensis plants and Aloe Vera Pure Gel to tourists and all the interested people
