• Part of operation and buildings are already working with the solar energy
• Recently exchanged ACs to a less energy consuming ones, which save up to 20% of energy comparing to the previous ones
• All uniforms and textile materials used in activity center are made with collected beach garbage

Community interactions:

• Sentidos Beach Retreat has been developing projects for and with the local community, namely in the upcoming construction of classrooms for the region’s children. As an independent entity, the hotel strives to engage the local community by providing them with the education they need
• Aside from this community, the resort intends to embrace the cause of Mozambican maritime fauna, hopefully attracting the attention of locals and clients drawn to the richness of the tropical waters
• Organizing cultural trips to Inhambane where guests are invited to have a meal with the community, buy art crafts in the local markets, meet new artists, etc.
